Having decided that it was time I tried to get enough exercise to justify sitting in front of the computer all day – not to mention the cake part of ‘Coffee and Cake’ and having a dog – and having just moved to Cumbria, right on the edge of England, with Scotland only a few miles away. I thought to share my thoughts on all three of the above.
I carry my camera with me most days because being ‘medium sighted’ (i.e. I can see fine providing the thing I’m looking at is between six and thirty feet away, closer and farther things fade into a comforting blur) I’ve found that pointing and clicking at anything that could be interesting and then transferring the pictures to the computer gives me images of things that I certainly would have dismissed as uninteresting without them – it also gives me a large number of pictures that are out of focus, just plain blurred or of something really uninteresting – I’ll try not to bore you with those.
The Dog and I hope you find our meanderings entertaining

Thanks for liking my post on Nature at http://eddiemyers.wordpress.com In looking at your blog I am reminded how small the world is today. I love making contact with people from so many different countries and getting to see a little bit of their life in the posts they write and the photos they use.

Yes, I feel very strongly connected to Norway. Now I’m looking forward to going to North Norfolk. At the very end of this month we go to The Dales and then The Lake District. It’s my first visit and I feel all excited. 🙂
Lots of love to the 2 of you♥
